Is it possible to add a sitemap.xml page to a website to make it easier for crawlers to get all the URL's in a single place to crawl and index a customers website?
A question has been asked by a TOTECS customer if we could add a sitemap.xml page to their website. This was prompted by a third party website audit. The format of the recommended page URL is: - https://www.customerswebsite.com.au/sitemap.xml The reason given was: "Having an XML sitemap to a wesite makes it easy for crawler to get al lthe urls at a single place to crawl and index. It's really important to have an XML sitemap as far as search engine visibility is concerned."
