Emedia Improvement - Total Views of Unique Views
Was wondering if anyone else would see an advantage in being able to identify how many times each unique email had been viewed. When viewing the "Emedia Results", there is a hyperlinked value next to the "Unique Views of Rich-Text Email:." when you click this link a popup with the result of all the Unique Views is listed. What I thought would be of value was populating the column called "View", with how many times this "unique email" was viewed. From this, we could assume that if multiple views were logged, there could have been more interest in this Emedia from that person. Or even better they had shared this Emedia doc with other people. Personally, I would directly contact those users first to pursue any available leads. Thanks
Monitoring your KPI's and measuring the success of your website
Hey guys, can you please let me know if I can set date ranges when accessing Admin Centre website stats on category performance, product performance, user performance and product performance. It would great to be able to access this data via the admin centre when doing monthly or quarterly KPI reports so I could see what my top categories are, what my top products are, who my top customers are and what users are searching for on the site for that period. The other stats are fantastic - I particularly like how $ order sales, number of orders and number of unique accounts can be viewed in the Sales Statistics page. Cheers, Nan

Improvement - Export Website Traffic statistics from the Project Traffic Statistics Statistics Settings Admin Centre interface
Is there a way in the Admin Center to get consolidated weekly/monthly online CMS server requests for specific Web Page ID's without having to hover over the bar graphs and manually extracting the information? For example: Total monthly CMS server requests.
Improvement - Be able to customise the content of the Order Submission Attachment Email notification
When an order is submitted from either a content managed website or through the Trade interface, for the attached order details file that is sent out confirmation email, it has been requested that the contents of the attachment file need to be configurable in both the content and styling of the order. This looks to be done through the introduction of project settings that can format different parts of the order. An additional requirement is to create a setting that can allow the order confirmation attachment to be either embedded within the content of the email confirmation message itself, or set as a separate attachment file like how the functionality currently works. To make this functionality available, the following RnD has been proposed: Within the Administration Centre, under the Stores menu the following will be added within the Order Settings Interface: Create a section called "Order Notification Email Attachment", contains the following settings: Setting for Order Detail Format: 2 hours This setting allows the overall layout and content of the order to be set, including displaying chosen address details, such as addresses, order numbers, instructions and totals. Setting for Order Product Record Format This setting allows the format of each ordered product to be set, including displaying the product code, name, description, ordered quantities, and pricing. Setting for Order Product Deal Record Format This setting allows the format of each deal applied to each ordered product to be set, displaying the kind of deal that was applied, and the discount. Setting for Order Product Basket Field Record Format This setting allows the format of each basket field filled out by the user ordering each product to be set. This contains any customised data such as line comments, additional information required for each ordered product. Setting for Order Product Attachment Record Format This setting allows the format of each file attachment associated with each ordered product to be set. This includes a link to download the attachment file, as well as see its file name. Setting for placing order detail within the Email message, or as an email attachment This setting controls if the formatted order detail should be placed within the body of the email notification, or otherwise set as an attachment as how the functionality currently works. The platform will need to be modified to generate the contents of the Order Email Attachment based on the above format settings The order submission process will also need to be modified to be able to save Order Email Attachment file from generated email content or place it into the submission email body The platform's database will need to be altered to be able to save and configure the above settings The total development time to is expected to take 17 hours and for the it to go ahead we are looking for demand and help to fund the development. Improvements - New features for listing News/Blogs Items
1)All News/Blogs items Add a new News/Blog Group option to the News Group Blogs/Items Listing Area that allows a feed of all News/Blogs Items regardless of category. This would be a great feed that could be used for a home page. Currently the only option is to create multiple area listings but this is hard to manage once you create additional News Groups 2) add listing order option to -> News Group Blogs/Items Listing Area a)Recently Viewed items b)Most Popular items (Number of Views) c)Most commented items d)Ascending/Descending (Date) d)Ascending/Descending (Alphabetical Heading) e)ID 3) Add a new area for "News Group Blogs/ Category Listing" this will allow different blog listings to be filtered to the next level. Example , we could set up a Forum with one category, a Blog for another, and news feeds for another.
Improvement - Remove any products from a shopping basket that have been renamed/deleted/made inactive
Currently when an order is submitted that contains a product that has been renamed/deleted/made inactive it will still appear the order confirmation (although it will have no description) and it will be submitted with the order into the Accounting Connector. Where some ERP systems won't import an order if it can't find a matching product number. What I propose is that when a product has been /deleted/made inactive, it deletes the product from the users shopping basket. If the item has been renamed then have an area in the admin centre where you can declare the items previous and current names and customers baskets are updated with the current item name.
Improvement - Product Deals and Vouchers feature to be able to apply a discount to products in the basket when customer sets a promotion or voucher code
It has been requested to modify the Products Deals and Vouchers feature in the platform, where if a user has entered a voucher or promotion code before checkout, that the products currently in the user's basket can all be discounted based on deals applicable to the user at the time. This functionality looks to help promote a business and improve online sales further by making it easier for users to redeem product deals without having to enter the codes first, then choosing which products on the deal to add to the basket. If you think that this feature improvement will benefit your business please indicate your interest below. Also if you have any other recommendations for the feature please also provide details.
Improvements - Separate content managed web page areas for Change Password, Forgot Password, and Basket Surcharge Calculator functionality

I was wondering if there was any plans to add functionality to overcome the current styling limitations of all the current CMS Popups? It would be awesome if we could get rid of them all together and add a new format library areas so that the functionality can be better presented and more functional. Currently the ones giving us a headache are: 1. Change Password popup 2. Forgot Password 3. Search item combo popup 4. Basket Surcharge Calculator.

Improvement - Allow SEO of paginator links in Product Search Results Listing content managed web page area

Hi Guys, I was trying to work out why Google is not crawling all Pagination Pages of each of our categories, as a lot of our customers are using organic Google searches to look up our part codes but not being able to find our products. This is especially important to us as many of our products codes are specified in tenders, but our company name is not always listed as the supplier. What I found, and please let me know if I'm on the wrong track, is Google is efficiently crawling our site and caching the first page but once it crawls the page, because the "cached" page is not connected to the www.alectro.com.au server the "http://www.alectro.com.au/search%20page%2010" page request fails, and in turn the content on all of the remaining pages is not being crawled. Step 1. Google search for "HDMI Wall Plates" Step 2. Click the [Cached] or " v " down arrow next to our listing and view the Cached content of Alectro's (HDMI Wall Plates) Step 3. At the top click View the "Text-only version" http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:zrbaAjRJ_QEJ:www.alectro.com.au/wall_plate_products/cat/hdmi-wall-plate.html&num=1&hl=en&gl=au&strip=1&vwsrc=0 Step 4. Improvement - Options for sorting results ascending/descending by product code
Hey guys, It would be great if we had ascending/descending as options to sort by, in the product search result listing area. When sorting by product code it is automatically descending with no options to change that. Andy
Improvement - Button in Web Page Editor to allow an area's settings to be saved and not close the editor

currently when the "update area" button is pressed in the template area of the web page editor, the page closes automatically. This means if you have assigned the incorrect area when testing you have to reallocate each or the area which can be quite monotonous.

Improvement - Settings to hide or show payment method displayed in orders, and order Email confirmation attachments

Hey, Are we able to have the 'Payment Method' section that appears on the emailed web confirmation removed? This wording confuses our customers as we have multiple 'Account' setups. Even if you can't remove the section at least remove where it comes up saying either 'Account' or 'Credit'. can we just have it blank? Thanks

Improvement - Online Credit Account Application Form

I'm looking at the idea of implementing an online account application form for a credit account. We currently use a downloadable PDF that the applicant needs to fill in and send back as an email or fax. The double entry and delay in processing can be frustrating for both us and the customer. I would love to hear if anyone else is already doing something that is interrogated into there site.

Improvement - Display product review data for each product in Category Listing content managed web page areas

If someone wants to have product review comments appear on the category page, is there a way to pull the product review data from a product and then put it on the category page?

Improvement - Shopping list description to show when a shopping list is selected in a Product Details content managed web page area.

Is it possible when a shopping list is selected form the drop down on the Product Details page, to display the description of the selected shipping list by either an additional hook or via the back end code?

Improvement - Settings to manage "Not Found" images for categories and products through the Administration Centre

Would be great if the "Not Found Image" for Categories and Products that haven't had an Image assigned to them, could be uploaded and managed in the admin area.

Improvement - Add Column to Customer Payments Table to show the administrator user who submitted a custom credit card payment

Within the Administration Centre, under the Stores menu, in the Payments interface, within the table that displays in the View Payments tab, it would be beneficial to show which administrator user submitted the custom credit card payment on behalf of the customer, using the Make Payment functionality in the payments admin interface.

Improvement - Customise volume discount table data displaying in Product Detail content managed web page area

There is a table like the below one that shows on "Web Product" but not on "Combination products". Improvement - Web Area Formats Libraries sorted by layout instead of alphabetical
Hey TOTECS! In the Web Area Formats Libraries the formats are sorted alphabetically. It would be great if they were sorted how they are displayed on the page. For example, in a format that has a header and footer, the footer format is always displayed before the header format, even though it should be the other way round. Sorting the formats by layout would make it easier as a developer to know how the formats will be output. Cheers, Andy
Improvement - Bulk Removal of Products from "Child Products" within a "Category Trees"
I would like to remove a large number of products currently listed as a child product in one of my Categories. My thought was to do a "Category Product" import with the "Item Code" listed in [column 1] and the "Category Code" Listed in [column 2] left as blank. Unfortunately I got the following error message [Category "" does not exist for item "SBPF1001"] is there a better way of clearing the Item Code Category or a different value I can use in [column 2] of the "Category Products" data import? Please note that I am trying to remove 400+ items from this Category and the Category Trees/Child Product - Delete button is too laborious.
Improvement - Product reviews for combination product children show when combination is selected
Hey TOTECS! Let's say one of our products gets a review, and that product is the child of a combination product. If a user was to navigate to the combination product, and select the child that has the review, it would be good if the review would then be displayed in a product review listing area. Or it would be good if in the Product Reviews section on the TOTECS platform, we had the ability to move/duplicate reviews to the parent combination product, so that a user can see all the reviews of child products when on a combination product. Improvement - Global area toggle within specific pages
Hey Totecs! I had an idea that could be very useful. Would it be possible to make some kind of option that would allow you to hide global areas on specific pages? Let's say you have a global area which has a banner or something in it and appears on every page on your website, but there is one or two pages you don't want this banner to appear on such as log in, register or similar pages. It would be good to be able to have a checkbox in the area options that said "Hide global area on this page". Alternatively I could just make a new web page template but I would rather not have to maintain another template just for a handful of pages. What do you think? Time saver! Myob has a “promised Date field” on all invoices, orders, Quotes and Bills. This hook would be a great addition to the Following Account Inquiry areas: • “Customer Account Invoice” Format hooks. • “Customer Account Invoice Line Item” Format hooks This would be great for the customers to get an up to date delivery time of there orders. We currently use it on our own internal website to keep a track of what orders are due to be shipped on that day.
Improvement - Basket Summary cart_TotalItem integer option
Hey guys, Would you please be able to add a cart_TotalItem_Integer to the Basket Summary format area? Similar to cart_TotalItemQty_Integer. A user can't add a fraction of a product to their cart anyway. Thanks! Andy
Improvement - Volume Discount User Message

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to change the User message and logic. The current message is And it takes the quantity & price from MYOB data.

The issue is that a number of Users don't read the message (I know its quite clear!) and assume that the discount applies from "4" (in this case), whereas it only applies when quantities is more than 4. If possible, could the message read "Buy 5 or more for... " and the code retrieving the quantity break would need to increment the value by 1 If it was only the very odd occurrence,

I wouldn't bother raising this, but we get a number of orders coming through at the break quantity (ie the value displayed in the message) and then need to ring the customer to confirm whether or not they want an additional item to get the discount. Also as a FYI, customers have mentioned that this is how a number of other systems present the info when ordering.

Improvement - Setting to hide the Product Groups content managed web page area if no product records display in the area.
On a content managed web page containing a Product Group area, currently the area will always display even if the product on the page it is being drawn with is not assigned to any product group. If the format for the area containing a heading, then this heading will always show. There needs to be a setting in the Product Groups area to have it not display its Product Group Listing format at all if not product records are displayed in the area.
New Feature - Returns Authorisation
We are considering developing a returns module to help streamline the returns process and to clearly define a returns policy for our clients. Most wholesale distribution businesses have a process whereby customers can return faulty or damaged goods on warranty or return products they accidently ordered in error or products that were shipped in error. These are called Return Authorisation requests (RAs). The Returns Authorisation Officer (RAO) is the person in the business who vets the incoming RAs and determines if the RA is authorised and if so, notifies the customer and actions the RA in their ERP system. Requirements Develop an electronic RA process into TOTECS whereby the lodgement of RAs can be performed either in a CMS website or the Trade Interface (Phase 1). Then, develop an Admin Centre Feature that allows the RAO to assess and process RA items which thus generates an electronic Credit Note for selected items submitted via the Connector. Phase 1: Develop a Return Authorization Basket Feature whereby products can be added to the RA basket from an RA Quick Add Form. Each RA basket can have its own header description. The process should work as follows: - The user browses to a Returns web page which displays a list of current open RAs. - Optionally there is an RA History button that would go to a page that lists historic RAs. - The user either selects an open Returns Basket or clicks on the New Return button and optionally sets a Descriptive label for the RA. - The RA Edit screen displays show an Add Product text box. The user adds the product into their RA basket by entering the product code. - Once all items are added to the RA, the user clicks on Send RA - The RAO receives an email notification and processes it.
New Feature - Ebay Integration
This feature looks to allow a TOTECS project to generate a list of products that can be listed on Ebay, then to automatically send the products to be listed. Additionally a template will be configured to set the description and styling that appears with each product, which allows links and additional information to be listed on Ebay, which can promote traffic back to your website. Routines will also be developed within TOTECS so that the listed products in Ebay can be monitored. Additionally products can be delisted from within the Administration Centre. The clear intention of this feature is to be able to push large amounts of products into ebay from a customer's online inventory, reducing time that businesses would use to manually create ebay listings. The business would still need to monitor and communicate with Ebay buyers through Ebay, as well as pay Ebay for listing items and the percentage fee when a product sold. If you are interested please comment below. Before we develop this feature we would need sufficient demand and we would look to spread the development costs due to the highly complex nature of this integration.
New Feature - Integrated Freight with IFS SmartFreight
We are looking to develop an integration between TOTECS and IFS SmartFreight. IFS SmartFreight allows you to set up relationships with multiple freight carriers. At the time your users checkout in your website TOTECS will query IFS SmartFreight, and have it automatically calculate the price of freight for the order from all your chosen carriers. Either the user can choose from the freight carriers or TOTECS will choose the cheapest price for them. Then once the order is submitted TOTECS it can optionally make a request to IFS SmartFreight to generate a consignment number, and assign the consignment number to the order imported into your accounting/ERP system. Finally once you're ready to pick and pack the order you can use IFS SmartFreight's tools to complete the process in the warehouse and ship out the goods with the chosen carrier. This integration looks to automate a number of manual processes, whilst removing the need to manage freight rules in the surcharge manager within a TOTECS project's admin interface. Improvment - Assign multiple salesrep IDs to a rep trade user within Salesrep feature

We currently group debtor types together using different rep codes (same rep but different type of customer) Eg John1, John2 It would be great to be able to assign multiple mirrored sales rep accounts to a rep user, so they can operate with one login. Any +1's on this? Thanks Ian

Improvement: Active status, Display Last Login and Last Order Date in Search Users admin centre interface

Hi Everyone, It would be great to see if a user is active from the Search Users interface within the Administration Centre, this helps with password resetting (to know if it will affect anyone if it is changed) and also when maintaining a user to know if it is the correct one. If we could see last login date and last order date (or list of orders) by clicking a button on the screen it would be ideal. How about some +1's? Thanks!

New Feature - Product Review Summary content managed web page area

Would be great to be able to add a product review summary area on a content managed web page that displays highly rated reviewed products like flagged products

Improvement: Auto-select drop down when finding products to assign to a product deal

When setting Deal Products and Deal Users, it would be great if the search would function in the sames ways as the other Product / User searches throughout the admin centre, with autofill.

New Feature - Dealer Locator

Over the years there have been requests for a Dealer Locator module to be added to the TOTECS® platform. We are inviting all clients with an interest in seeing this feature developed to please join in on the forum discussion and contribute their ideas on how such a function could be imlemented to meet their needs
