If a deal is redeemed via promotion code and has the offer type "Buy Over X Price Of Basket Total (Ex. Product Redeemed), Get Product For Y Percent Off Price" why aren't existing products in the basket having the deal automatically applied?
A question was asked where if a product deal was set up with the offer type "Buy Over X Price Of Basket Total (Ex. Product Redeemed), Get Product For Y Percent Off Price" that has the Redemption Mode set to "Redeemable With Promotion Code", then if a user adds products to basket, then enters a promotion code within a "Redeemable Deals and Vouchers Form" area, why doesn't the deal automatically apply to all products in the basket if the basket total is over the deal's threshold?
How do Deal Groups work within the Product Deals and Vouchers feature?
In the Administration Centrem under Marketing, Product Deals and Vouchers, then under the Deals header bar, there is a button labelled View Deal Groups. What is the purpose of this button and how is it used?
Buy Over Product Quantity X For Price Y, can it apply to different products?
I want to Create a deal that mix and match any products in category X for Price Y. For example buy more than any 10 products in category X for Price Y. However, when I added the category X and ran the deal, it just apply for 10 units of single product in category X, not the combinations of 10 products. Is thre any to do that? Thank you.
With the new feature released in 14.02, enabling Admin Users to resend Unopened eMarketing emails, is an Admin User able to to see the results from using the Resend Unviewed button on the View Results, Email Results pop-up?

Is there a way to extract a list of users who did not open an email sent to them via the eMarketing module?
One of our customers would like to send a follow-up email to users who did not open an eMarketing email sent to them via the eMarketing module. Is there a way to extract a list of users for this purpose?
Is there a way to automate the process of adding products to an eMarketing email?
With customers getting excited by the TOTECS eMarketing module, a question was asked if it was possible to automate the process of adding products to an eMarketing email. Currently it requires multiple steps to add a single produt and it would be a great time saver if there were a more efficient way.
What happens when a user unsubscribes from all eMarketing or an eMarketing category?
Within the Administration Centre, under the Marketing menu, within the Emedia Messaging interface, after an emedia email is sent out, within the View Results dialog it was reporting, System wide Unsubscriptions : 23 (1% Users) are recorded. Clicking through into any of the users who have unsubscribed, Within the User Details interface I noticed a couple of things:

1. You click on Receive Marketing and Save and the user will once again receive emarketing emails (I thought this would be disabled).

2. The Assigned Emarketing Category, still shows the New Features as still ticked. (If the user has done a system wide unsubscribe, should it also have unticked the assigned emarketing category boxes?)

In the past if the user had unsubscribed I thought these were greyed out and could not be selected.

Can a product deal be set that allows a customer to get free freight for their whole order when one or more products in their basket has a Freight Surcharge deal type automatically applied?
A scenario was asked where if a TOTECS project had been set up that contains a product deal with the "Buy Over X Product Quantity For Y Percent Off Freight Surcharge", that is set to be automatically redeemed when a user adds a quantity of a certain range of products to basket. When this deal is applied any product in the basket is it possible to set the freight order surcharge to 0, allowing the user to get free freight for such orders?
How do you assign newly registered customers to a product deal?
To assign users to a deal when they register you need to do the following from the website's admin centre: 1. In the header click the 'Users' icon, then click the 'User Registration Profiles' menu option 2. Click on the relevant profile name 3. Scroll down to the 'Product Deals' section and type in the Deal ID (of the deal that customers should have assigned when they register) into the text input and click the 'Add Deal' button.
For a product deal "Buy One Get One Free" is it possible to automatically redeem the deal by only adding 1 quantity to basket?
After setting up a product deal - Buy One Get One Free, currently a user needs to add a quantity of 2 to the basket to get the deal to work. Is there a way to add just 1 product quantity to the basket to get the deal to automatically be redeemed? Admins have tried various deal Offer Types including: Buy Product Quantity X, Get Quantity Y For Price Z (X=1, Y=1, Z=0) and Buy Product Quantity X, Get Quantity Y For Z Percent Off Price (X=1, Y=1, Z=100)
Difference in number of emails sent in results and on an invoice
We've seen that the count of emarketing emails that are sent out is different between the results shown in the admin centre and what is billed for on an invoice. Why is there a discrepancy?
How do you see what your customers have been searching for?
Is there any way to see what customers have been searching for on the website?
Checking how much traffic is generated by a single login
You can check how much traffic is generated by a single user from the Project Traffic Statistics interface from within the admin centre. 1. Sign into the website as an administrator user 2. In the header click the 'Statistics' icon and click the 'Project Traffic Statistics' menu option 3. Under the 'Monthly Project Traffic' heading, select the 'User Login ID' option from the 'Search All Traffic' dropdown menu and type the username of the login whose data you would like to see into the text input field that appears next to the dropdown menu, then click the refresh button. Once the data for that particular Login is displayed you can cycle back to previous months to see their traffic history.
Why do prices set using Price Level ID for a Deal get over-ridden by Contract Pricing?
I set up a multi layered deal with the intention of applying 20% off the standard wholesale price, on a specific range of products, redeemed with a promotion code.: - Part 1 uses the Offer Type: Buy Product Quantity X for Y Percent Off Price, Quantity X is set to 1 and Percentage Y is set to 20% Off Price for a particular range products. - Part 2 uses the Offer Type: Buy Product Quantity X At Price Level Y, Quantity X is set to 1 and Y Price Level ID: is set to 2 (for this customer Price Level ID 2 equals the basic Wholesale price also known as Price Level A). The deal was tested and appeared to be working as intended. Then a user who had some of the same products included in a Contract he was assigned to, placed an order and they received 20% off the contract price rather than 20% off the basic Wholesale price, Price Level ID 2. The only way I could find around this situation was to turn off the Contract that included the same products until the deal was over. My question is: Why do prices set using Price Level ID for a Deal get over-ridden by Contract Pricing?
Automatically assign and unassign products on contract to a product flag
When I assign a product to a contract that is already assigned to a product flag, is there a way to have the flag assigned automatically to the new products assigned to the contract? Also, is the opposite possible? To unassign a flag from products if they are removed from a contract?
User Rule to: Select users with an account balance %equalling% %value1% and is %value2%
Hi Rowan, I am attempting to use the User/Account rule: ## Select users with an account balance %equalling% %value1% and is %value2% ## I would like to send an eMarketing email to all accounts that do not have a zero balance, or even have a debit balance, in the SYD territory but it doesn’t work. The rules all work up to that point of adding the account balance rule, but not after or even on its own. The variations tried without success are: - Greater than -$1.00 or Zero or other values - Less than $1.00 or Zero (There is no “Does not equal”option.) I have verified that there are balances on account s in TOTECS. Various other values have been tried, it does not filter correctly. Can you provide any assistance please?
Have logins created from a customer account import set to receive emarketing
Is there a setting so that when a new account is created by an import to have the corresponding user set to receive emarketing emails?

When I share a website running on TOTECS on a facebook post, I want to specify the image logo and title. Is this possible?
After a user redeems a product deal with the deal offer set to "Buy Over X Product Quantity For Y Percent Off Freight Surcharge" why is the surcharge not being discounted
A issue was reported where a product deal was redeemed by a user where the deal's offer was set to "Buy Over X Product Quantity For Y Percent Off Freight Surcharge", however when the user proceeded through the order checkout process the freight surcharge set against the order was not being discounted. So what is missing?

Can a particular user or account be excluded from being assigned to a product deal?

In the Administration Centre interface, under Marketing, Product Deals and Vouchers, is there a way to 'Exclude' a particular user or 'account id' from a Deal. At the moment, I can only see ways of adding users to a Deal, not excluding them.

What are the most efficient ways to manage product flags within TOTECS?
A few questions have come up regarding how managing product flags can be made easier. * Is there an easier way to add and remove product flags that going through each product individually? * Is it possible to set a time and date when a flag can be removed from a product?
Setting how often Google crawls through the webpages on your website
Currently Google does not allow website maintainers to control how often its automated software called GoogleBot crawls through a website, you can only set the rate that it can crawl your website (how often it loads a new page) https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/48620?hl=en
How can the unsubscribe link in Emedia Emails be set to link to a specific content managed web page?
A question was asked for when an Emedia Email is sent out to a number of users whether it was possible to set a specific content managed web page that the unsubscribe link directs users to, instead of the default unsubscribe page. So is it possible?
Emails sent to customers via the eMarketing module no have stopped displaying pictures when viewed in MS Outlook.
Hi Rowan, Early September 2016, eMarketing emails sent to customers via the Totecs eMarketing module only show a place-holder red X, instead of downloading the pictures, when viewed in MS Outlook on desktop computers. The emails and pictures work fine when displayed on a phone. Old eMarketing emails stored in Outlook, which used to display the pictures, no longer download pictures either. Totecs newletters are also not downloading pictures. I have attempted all sorts of fixes including making sure safe senders and blocked senders list are okay, an running a fix from Microsoft. As 26% of our email recipients use Outlook to view our eMarketing emails this is of concern. I was wondering, have any other Totecs customers have experienced the same issue? Why are no users are being assigned to a product deal if a user group is assigned that matches on two different login IDs
An issue was raised where within the Administration Centre's Product Deals and Vouchers interface a deal had been created that had one Marketing User Group assigned to it. This user group contained 2 conditions to find users with a login ID equal to "A", and to find a user with a login ID equal to "B". The question was when the users were calculated to be assigned to the deal, why was neither user A, or user B assigned to the deal?
Difference between Redeem code and Voucher code when setting up Product Deals?

Creating a product deal for basket total over X amount
I have created a deal where if the basket total price is over $50, users get 10% products assigned to the deal. What I have found is that if I add over $50 worth of one of the products assigned to the deal they are unable to get the discount. Is this a bug?
How to automatically assign a new user to a product deal after they register?

If someone sets up a product deal for the user group Everyone, will newly registered users be able to use the product deal without an admin having to save and recalculate users?

Linking Trade Interface Advertising to A Category
If I set up a category or 2 for a promotion, is it possible to link those categories from the the trade interface homepage using Trade Interface Advertising?
Product details page - "Deal Label" and "Deal Description" return [INVALID FORM VAR]
Deals related to a product are currently configured using Product Deal/Deal Record Listing Web Area Format. Date and ID hooks work fine but "Deal Label" and "Deal Description" hooks return [INVALID FORM VAR]. Deals have been set in the administration area of the website and are active. What is the correct approach to configure and setup deals for a product item so that all the hooks are properly used?
Assign user to the default emarketing category
Is there a way to assign users to the default emarketing category during the registration process without showing users any option?

News item header is not showing everything that has been entered in the heading area of the news item.

With new release of our system, Setting for emedia message header has changed. Reason for this change is to help load page faster for customer.

Usually under trade interface when home page loads up it loads number of area like Special Products, News Release, Discontinued line and Clearance product as well as news item on the home page. If News Item header has too much information, it would even take longer to load the home page which might frustrate customers.

With the new setting within the Admin Center you can control how many character should appear in the header of the news item by following the steps below.

1. Login to the Admin Center

2. Click on Marketing from Top menu and select Marketing Settings from the drop menu

3. Under General there is a new setting "Limit of Record In Emedia Rich-text Areas"

4. You can change the length of character in the news item heading area by increasing the number

5. Click on Save

Can product deals apply to {GUEST} users who are not registered?
If a guest checkout user purchases a product on a deal, and that deal has a Redemption limit (no or times per user of per basket), will the redemption rule still apply to the user if they performed a second guest checkout? For instance, if I wanted to offer our customers a discount of 10% off their first order placed with us. This means that the deal can only apply once for that userâ??s email address. Will the current implementation satisfy this requirement?
Product Deals and Vouchers
Product Deals and Vouchers allows administrators to setup time based deals assigned to a range of customers that apply to a range of products. There is no limit to the number of deals you can create. For each deal you create, you set the Deal Type which governs how the deal will work. The most common Deal Type is Buy product X get $Y or %Y off. You can set specific redemption modes for each deal including the number of times an assigned user may redeem the deal. This is handy to limit the deal. There are modes for entering Promo Codes or user assigned Voucher Code to redeem the deals. Users can redeem Deals either on the Product itself or through a Promo Code redemption Content Area usually setup on the homepage or Shopping Cart page. This ensures your users cannot miss product deals as they navigate your eCommerce website.
How can the marketing user subscription categories be hidden from the Trade interface's My Detail page
Within the Trade interface, on the My Details page is it possible to not show the Assigned Marketing Categories section and associated user subscription categories?
