With the wonderful world of the internet, things change rapidly and sometimes bugs can escape the rigorous QA of the TOTECS platform.
If you have found a bug please goto http://totecs.gosquizz.com/totecs-bugs.html webpage and fill out the form. One of our staff will be sent your submission, from where we will try to replicate, investigate, solve, test and release a bug fix for.

Please note that the purpose of the bugs forum is to have a platform for us to talk about existing bugs. The idea is that if you have found a bug then first report it on the http://totecs.gosquizz.com/totecs-bugs.html page. Please avoid reporting your bugs into the forum.
Once a bug is submitted, If we then need to make an announcement about a bug we will make a post in the bug forum, which then allows any discussion about it to take place. So the Bugs forum is not used as a primary way of reporting bugs, but more for staying in the loop on the bugs that are out there.

Product Detail "volume_discount_table" Hook
Not sure if this is a bug or not? I am using this following hook ""volume_discount_table" in our product details page to list the volume discounts available on our combination product. example: https://www.alectro.com.au/wall_plate_product_detail/CWPFH601-XLR-Wall-Plate-A_item.html?ref_cat_id=XLR-Wall-Plate Volume Discount Qty $Inc / $Ex 2.00+ $7.25 / $6.59 unfortunately when one of the attributes are changed... example: remove text above connections --> text above each connection The volume discount table does not update, should you add this child product to cart and then view the product details page of the child product, as per the below link. The updated volume discount table shows the correct pricing. https://www.alectro.com.au/Product_Detail/CWPFH601_item.html Volume Discount Qty $Inc / $Ex 2.00+ $19.68 / $17.89 3.00+ $18.65 / $16.95 9.00+ $16.58 / $15.07 19.00+ $15.54 / $14.13 can you please confirm if this product details "volume_discount_table" hook should dynamically update once an attribute has changed? Unable to download a CSV file of user data within the Search Users Administration Centre interface
It has been reported that within the Administration Centre, in the Search Users interface, if an administrator tries to export the searched users to a CSV file, upon clicking on the Export button a new browser window would open that would display an blank page, instead of the browser downloading a CSV file.
Bug - News/Blog Groups order listing
Currently the "News/Blog Groups" list has a heading (Order) that has a select box against each Group Name. I assume this select box would change the order listing of the "News Group Name". Currently the "order select boxes" do not reflect the way the items are listed on our site and looks to be listing them by the "News/Blog Groups" -> "ID". Please advise that the Order select box would change the News Group Name order. Thank you.
Product Search Form content managed web page area not reloading when attribute profile is displaying several attributes as a list with counts
On a content managed web page that was showing an product attribute search form allowing users filter products based the counts of attributes values, it was found that when a search form area was assigned to an attribute search profile that displayed several attributes as "Page Links with Product Counts" that the area may fail to reload itself after the user clicked on a link. This would cause the user to wait for a long period of time before giving up on being able to search.
Add favourite onclick doesn't update favourites_product_class and/or favourites_product_is_added hook until page reload
In a product search record, the function onclick="$favourites_product_add_onclick$" doesn't update the hooks $favourites_product_class$ and/or $favourites_product_is_added$ from N to Y until page reload. This means currently we can't use CSS to change the state of a fav button when the user clicks it, meaning the user may think it didn't work
Users not being notified of successfully submitted orders between 19/03/2016 and 20/03/2016 and Emails not sending
It was discovered that between 11:30pm 19/03/2016 and 9:30pm 20/03/2016 that when users tried to submit an order any websites hosted on the platform that they were not being notified that their order had successfully been submitted. Because of this some users may have decided to create a new order and tried to submit again, which could have caused duplicate orders.
Shopping list not working
The Shopping List Import Form Is Not Working
Guest users order data sometimes being overwritten by other guest users when an unconfirmed order exists with the same customer account
A critical bug has been found with the guest order checkout feature where it was possible that a guest user could have their order data overwrite another guest user's order if both users were creating orders in the checkout process at the same time. This could lead to one of the guest user's viewing or submitting incorrect order data.
invalid form var in web area formats library
In the "Web Area Formats library->news/blogging->news comment listing" in that format the hook with name "$user_display_name$" gives an invalid form var while others are working perfectly.
Unable to select formats for new or existing content managed web page areas when area formats contain CDATA tags in format content
New area doesn't pop up allowing to create new "Product Details" area, nor does it allow you to change the formats on an existing areas.
Orders being marked as sent even if the order did not successfully send and import into the Connector software
A critical bug was found where if a user submitted an order from a content managed website, trade interface, or through the Administration Centre Order's interface, and if the order was sent to the Connector software but the connector was not running, or unavailable to be connected to, then the order's status was still being marked as sent back in the Administration Centre's Orders interface. This issue was introduced when the TOTECS platform was migrated across to its new high availability servers this year, and the underlying software supporting the platform was upgraded in the process, which did not completely support the way failed connections were being handle. This issue would typically only have an impact if the Connector software was unavailable, due to networking changes/issues, or internet down time at the location where the server was running the Connector software. If this did occur over the past 3-4 months then we would highly recommend that checks be performed to ensure that no orders have been missed from being dispatched over the time frame. Generally we would recommend that these checks be done regardless on a weekly basis to ensure all customer's orders are being handled, and that the status of the Connector is regularly monitored. This bug would not have stopped the order submission Emails from being sent out to both the administrator and submitting user, but it would have caused the "Submission Failure Notification" Email to not have been sent out to administrators advising of the connection issue, if its setting was turned on. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused, and look to have a bug fix deployed into the platform on Monday night 7/12/2015.
Product Reviewing Listing area incorrectly showing user login ID and not Display Name

Currently the hook $product_review_user$ in Product/Product Review Record - is the only customer specific reference in the available hooks. $product_review_user$ currently displays the users "Login Id" where I believe it should be referencing the "Display Name" of the user which as a default is set to "annonymous". Can this be changed in the admin area somewhere? I would also like to correct the spelling from annonymous to anonymous.

Sending out an Emedia Email causes that the status to stay at VERIFIED and no Emails get sent out
An issue has been reported where within the Administration Centre, under the Marketing menu, in the Emedia Messaging interface, if an administrator user tries to send out an Emedia Email, after clicking on the Send button the Emedia's status may stay at VERIFIED, and no Email Emails would be sent out.
[INVALID FOR VAR] displaying in a Category Crumbs content managed web page area when a category could not be found for a product
It was reported that on a content managed web page containing a Category Crumbs content managed web page area, the crumbs area would display [INVALID FORM VAR] in the area when a category associated product displayed on the webpage could not be found. In this case a category was associated to the product displayed on the page, but the category was not assigned to the same category tree as the tree that was set for the category crumbs area.
Product Search Results Listing content managed web page area unable to paginate through products of a category when category code ends with "in"
On a content managed web page containing a Product Search Results Listing area a bug was found where if the area was configured display products for a category based on a category code set in the URL, and the category's code ended with "in", then when a user tried to use the paginator to navigate through pages of products search results, no products would display.
Website Statistics - No Data available from June 2015
Just tried to view Website Statistics data for our website and looks like it has stopped collecting data from June 2015. Not something I use all the time but thought it was worth mentioning.
Web products not being converted into Combination products when a Product Combinations text file data import

Hi guys I am currently having a problem when importing combination products via the data Import. I have created a number of new combination products with the product creator but when uploading them, my parent combination products are being imported as a web product instead of being imported across as a combination product. I believe this is a setting that has been deactivated in the back end of the administration area by the service team. There was a problem a couple of months ago where we did a data import and it turned all Active "Web Products" to Hidden and only show the "Combination Products" This was resolved with changing a setting by the service guys which allow me to upload products without turning all active Web Product to Hidden. Is there a way round these two problems and being able to manage both imports in house?

Sending out out an Emedia Email causes the error "Unable to find Email Media to send." to display and the Emedia status stays at VERIFIED
An issue was reported where if an admin user in the Emedia Messaging interface of the Administration Centre tried to send out an Emedia Email, an error dialog would display with the message "Unable to find Email Emedia to send", and no Emails would be sent out. The status of the Emedia would also stay at VERIFIED.

In the My Details page of the Trade Interface a user is unable to save an existing address when address4 an organisation fields are turned off
A bug was reported where if within the the Trade interface of a TOTECS project a user tried to update the details of an address they created within the My Details page, or on the Order Details page, if the user clicked on the save button, an error would display "You must give a address 4 for this address." and the user would not be able to save the address. This issue would only occur if either the 4th address field, or the organisation address field were not turned on for the TOTECS project.
No products able to be imported from shopping lists into a user's basket when the user does not have permission to add at least one product
Within the Trade interface of a TOTECS project, or on any content managed web page containing a Shopping List Listing, or Shopping List Products areas, if all of a shopping list's products are attempted to be imported into a user's basket, no products would be added to the basket if one or more products could not be added because the user does not have permission to add the basket, or the product was not active.
Order approval message in sent pending order Email notification incorrectly displays the login ID of the user who created the order instead of the managing user who approved the order
Upon a user creating an order in either the Trade interface, or through a content managed website, if the order was submitted as pending, and required by a managing user to approve the order using the Purchase Manager Approval feature, then once the manager had approved the order, the Email notification that was getting sent to the user who created the order incorrectly displayed the message advising that the user who created the order had approved the order and submitted it.
Setting the default region for one content managed website causes default regions for other content managed websites to no longer be assign as default regions
Within the Administration Centre of a single TOTECS project, under the Websites menu, in the Websites interface, upon opening the Website Detail interface for a given content managed website, if a region is created or modified and is set to be the default region, then if any other content managed websites exist in the TOTECS project that contain existing default regions, then these regions will no longer be assigned as the default. This can have unexpected consequences where sessions for guest users in these content managed websites may not remain when users navigate between pages, and things like products in their basket will get cleared.
Content managed web page template unable to be saved within the Websites Administration Centre interface when a template name contains more than 30 characters
A bug has been reported within the Administration Centre's Websites interface, where if a admin user tries to modify a web page template that contains a template name containing more than 30 characters in length, then when trying to save the template an error dialog will display advising that the template could not be updated.
Purchase order number still being pre-filled in Order Checkout/Submission content managed web page areas when a user's facility role does not allow pre-filling
On a content managed web page containing either an Order Checkout/Submission area, or a Guest Order Checkout/Submission. At the time the user was using the area to checkout and set the details of an order, the Purchase Order Number field would be pre-filled with the value that the user set when they last submitted an order, even if the user was assigned to a Facility Permission Role that had the "Prefill Email field in Order Details" permission set to "Deny".
Taking a long time for the User Details interface to load within the Administration Centre
It was reported that from within the Administration Centre's Search Users interface that it was taking a long time for administrator's to view the details of users after clicking on the Login ID of a user. Additionally this was occurring if the Last Logged In column option was chosen in the Search Users table.
Inventory Role Permissions unable to be regenerated causing categories to not display
We have found a bug in the platform where if the Inventory Role Permissions were being regenerated, the regeneration process would not complete for some projects. Because of this it could cause categories not to display to users who had permission to see the categories, based on the products users can view within these categories.
Basket Product Field Pagination not working
From within the admin centre, the pagination is not working when maintaining basket product fields. When on the second page of basket product fields, 'previous', 'first' and '1' are greyed out. You must close out of the window and back in again to go back to the first page of basket product fields.
Recommended Retail Pricing(RRP) not displaying for a product after updating a project to use the Connector to import pricing
On a content managed web page that was displaying products in a Search Product Listing area for a guest region user, previously it would display RRP pricing for each product, but after modifying the TOTECS project to use the Connector to import the pricing for products, the RRP pricing has disappeared.
