Always clearing the Email order details field

There is now the ability to clear the Email field in the order details form whenever a user goes through the order checkout process for creating a new order. This can be handy for users (such as sales representatives) so that they don't accidentally submit an order notification to wrong email address based on their previous submitted order.



 




  • 1.Login to the Administration Centre.

  • 2.Click on the Users menu button.

  • 3.Click on User Permissions link.

  • 4.Click on the Modify Role radio button.

  • 5.Select a role from within the Choose Facility Role panel (based on the users assigned to the role who need the Email field to be cleared).

  • 6.Click the Edit link within the panel

  • 7.Next the permission labelled Pre-fill Email Field in Order Details, select the Deny radio button.

  • 8.Click the Save Role button at the bottom of the page.

Any users assigned to the Facility Role will now have the Email field cleared when they need to set the order details from with the Trade interface, or through a content managed web page area.
