Is it possible to display the product data for a default combination product, when a product details area is loaded for its parent product?

Is there any way to load a default combination products data when the parents product details page is loaded? As an example when the below page is loaded the barcade and product code for the parent displays, when there is already a combination product selected. http://www.frontlinesafety.com.au/Frontline-Safety-Products/FL_P_FLA313_item.html?ref_cat_id=Pants
